Watercolor Reflection: January 27, 2012. 1. The best part of my painting are the colors because they are cheerful and look good together. 2. The painting I think I could have done better on is the past one because it doesn't look clean, it's least favorite. 3. The thing that ties all my paintings together is the colors and the text, they all have writing on them. 4. I used cheerful, bright, so primary colors for my present, and cool colors plus pink in my future painting because I like those colors the best and its calm. 5. Watercolor painting is my favorite of all because I love the dripping effect and the way the colors blend together is gorgeous. 6. I learned that the mistakes we make in art is an opportunity, because when I but a drop on the paper and blew it, it went all over and it look really good in the end. This can be applied in life because everyone makes mistakes but they really aren't mistakes, they are lessons. 7. I created all this painting with a plan but not the colors or the way I did them. Once I was done, I stepped back and looked at them, they mean so much more, the colors I used and the way I placed them. 8. I learned that you have to pull the brush so I can apply that to the next project and how to blend colors.
